Calendar sales to benefit
homeless animals

The Monmouth County SPCA is offering its New Beginnings Alumni Calendar for 2004. The calendar features the Monmouth County animal shelter’s "happy tails" (adoptees) in photographs taken by pet photographer Kim Levin.

The calendars are $10, with all funds going directly to help the county’s homeless animals. Calendars may be picked up at the shelter or ordered by mail, telephone or online. For mailed calendars, there is a $3 shipping and handling charge. To order by mail, send a check ($13 per calendar) along with name, address and telephone number to MCSPCA Calendar, P.O. Charity Vendor Night

Nov. 19 in Freehold

HaDor Haba Hadassah will sponsor Charity Vendor Night Nov. 19 from 7-10 p.m. at Brookside assisted living community, 93 Manalapan Ave., Freehold. Items for sale will include jewelry, handbags, pottery, baby items, children’s clothing, books, kitchen items, games and puzzles, personalized gifts and stationery, art, dolls, toys, candles and more.
