Freehold church to host money management seminar

A money management seminar, "No Debt, No Sweat," will be held on Nov. 21 from 6:30-9:15 p.m., and Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Freehold Church of Christ, 46 Strickland Road, Freehold Township. The seminar is free, and child care will be provided.

The seminar will be conducted by Steve Diggs of Nashville, Tenn., an author, minister and financial counselor. Diggs was chairman of the Franklin Group Inc. for more than 25 years, according to a press release.

There will be four sessions: "Failure: First Step to Success," "The ABCs of Christian Money Management," "Getting Out of Debt and Dealing With Credit Cards," and "What I Wish They’d Told Me About Investing and Retiring."

The Friday seminar will begin with an evening meal from 6:30-7:15 p.m., and the Saturday seminar will include lunch from 11:15 a.m. to noon.

Reservations are required; call the church at (732) 780-3451 or (732) 544-8747.
