Habitat for Humanity seeks home applicants

The Western Monmouth Habitat for Humanity (formerly Freehold Area Habitat for Humanity) is accepting applications until Nov. 15 for homes to be built within the Freehold area. Families who currently live or work in the Freehold Regional High School District and are in need of decent shelter are urged to apply. Families will be selected based on the following criteria: level of housing need, a minimum annual income of $25,000, inability to qualify for a conventional home mortgage, and willingness to partner in the program through "sweat equity."

The Western Monmouth Habitat for Humanity is an equal housing opportunity organization. For more information and/or an application, call (732) 308-3400.
