Old-time band forming;

The Banjo Strummers of Central Jer­sey is forming a nonprofit, old-time banjo band. Organizers are looking for members who play four-string banjo, tuba, bass guitar, sousaphone or trumpet. All ages, male or female, those who can read music as well as those who play by ear, are wel­come. There will be no audi­tions; prospective members are welcome to attend a rehearsal, sit in and try it out. Rehearsals are held in the Freehold area.
