Sheriff’s Youth Week
program graduates 35

Monmouth County Sheriff Joseph W. Oxley recently conducted Sheriff’s Youth Week 2003.

Youth Week, hosted annually by the Sheriff’s Office for Monmouth County residents ages 13-18, gives teens the chance to explore interests in many areas of law enforcement through police academy-style training and instructional sessions.

The eight-hour sessions were held each day at the Monmouth County Police Academy, Kozloski Road, Freehold Township. Participants received certificates during a graduation ceremony at the end of the week, while families looked on. This year, 35 graduates completed the program.
