The article "Board Asked to Review Bias Incident," published in the July 23 News Transcript, incorrectly implied that Jaspal Virdee believed his son was guilty of retaliating after he was assaulted at the Marlboro Middle School in February. Virdee’s son maintains that he did not re­taliate. Based on the information about the incident provided by Virdee’s son and a subsequent review by the school adminis­tration, the punishment originally meted out to Virdee’s son was rescinded, Virdee said.
