‘Artscapes’ exhibit to open at library Aug. 5

Red Bank Public Library, 84 W. Front St., will present "Discovering Beauty Through Art and Travel" Aug. 5 to Sept. 26.

An artists’ reception will be Aug. 21 from 6-8 p.m.

The exhibit consists of paintings, photographs and sketches.

It will feature works from students that participated in the "Artscapes" workshops designed by Lorraine Niemela, Colts Neck; Denise Weiner, Holmdel; and Marielle Teyssier, Toulouse, France.

Library hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m.-8 p.m., and Tuesday and Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information, call the library at (732) 842-0690.
