Resident appreciates newspaper’s support

I would like to thank the News Transcript for taking the time to publish stories about my work on behalf of soldiers from our area serving in Iraq. I am very happy that your newspaper gave me the opportunity to publicly thank all of the people who have assisted me in helping the soldiers.

Reading the amazing words of praise that Jeff Cantor, a major from Marlboro, wrote about me in your newspaper was thrilling. In addition, your articles made it easier for me to recruit donations for our soldiers from local businesses and from residents.

Your newspaper is truly an integral part of our community. It keeps us well informed about local issues and the events occurring in our area.

I’ve found that when the News Transcript publishes a story, all of my friends have read it. As far as local issues in western Monmouth County are concerned, no newspaper is more popular than the News Transcript. Please keep up the good work.
