Manalapan High School’s Fallon Quiles has received a partial scholarship to swim for Seton Hall University, South Orange. Quiles, a three-year letter-winner for the Braves, led Manalapan to its first championship this year, the Shore Conference A North Division, compiling an undefeated 11-0 record.

Quiles, who holds school records in the 500 freestyle and 100 breaststroke, was seventh in the 500 free and 10th in the 100 breast at the Monmouth County Championships. At the Shore Conference, the team captain was 13th and 18th, respectively, in those events. She helped make the Braves’ 400 freestyle relay team one of the best in the Shore.

The relay team earned All-Shore Second Team recognition.

Manalapan, which has had a varsity team program for just two years, was 16-4 over that span. At Seton Hall, Quiles will be swimming the breaststroke, individual medley and the distances events.
