Banjo band forming
in Freehold area

The Banjo Strummers of Central Jersey is starting a nonprofit banjo band in the Freehold area. Needed are banjo, tuba or sousaphone, bass guitar and trumpet players. The band will play the music of Tin Pan Alley, Al Jolson, Irving Berlin, etc., from the 1920s and ’30s. Men and women, all ages, are welcome.
