Freehold Township man faces charges FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP — Follow-ing a three-month investigation and the execution of a search warrant at a township home, Corey Fishbein, 21, of Freehold Township, was arrested and charged with multiple violations, according to a police press release. Freehold Township police said Fishbein was charged with possession of more than 50 grams of a controlled dangerous substance believed to be marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana within a school zone, illegal possession of prescription medications and possession of a stun gun. Freehold Township police officer William Gallo and members of the Freehold Township-Freehold Borough Joint Investigation Team (JIT) seized approximately 1.5 pounds of a substance believed to be marijuana, $800 in cash, scales, packaging materials and a 1993 Mazda Millennium, police said. According the police press release, the JIT executed a search warrant during the morning hours of Nov. 22 at a Sherwood Drive residence. Fishbein was arrested and placed in the Monmouth County jail, Waterworks Road, in default of $50,000 bail. He subsequently posted bail and was released. |
