New Monmouth drug court is expected to provide tangible benefits
     We are pleased that the Superior Court in Mon-mouth County began its Drug Court program on April 1. With the strong support of Assignment Judge Lawrence M. Lawson and with Judge Paul F. Chaiet presiding, Monmouth’s Drug Court hopes to work with at least 110 offenders during its first year.

Acceptable solution can be found by reasonable people
In all the fire and rhetoric, the statistics and nit-picking in the letters about redistricting in the Freehold Regional High School District a few things have emerged for me:

     • Few people in the fray seem to have a sense of history. The original regional solution was Freehold High School, no "borough" in the name. It was intended to address the needs of all the area’s teens (hard to imagine a population so small, hard to imagine the surrounding towns as farming...
