Cecilian Music Club

holds Spring Showcase

The Cecilian Music Club held its annual Spring Showcase at Freehold Music Center, Freehold Township, March 17. The piano students of Linda Chu, Amy Fredericks and An-li Young performed works from the classical repertoire. Students Sophia Liu, Sherry Li, David Kolchmeyer, Kriz Anne Nicole B. Caparino, Paul Leung and Victoria Leung performed.

reunion dates set

Reunions Unlimited is planning the following area reunions: Freehold Bor-ough High School, class of ’92 on Nov. 29; Freehold Township High School, class of 1982 on Aug. 10 and class of ’92 on June 15; Howell High School, class of ’82 on Aug. 17 and class of ’92 on Sept. 27; Jackson Memorial High School, class of ’82 on Aug. 10 and class of ’92 on April 6; Manalapan High School, class of ’82 on June 21 and class of ’92 on Nov. 29; and Marlboro High School, class of ’72 on April 13, class of ’82 on April 27 and class of ’92 on Nov. 30.

Reunions are also being organized for graduates of Bayside (’72), Flushing (’72, ’73), Hightstown (’92), John Bowne (’68, ’72, ’73), Lafayette (’78, ’79, ’80), Matawan (’82, ’92), Middletown (North: ’82, South: ’82, ’92), Ocean Township (’82, ’92), Red Bank Regional (’72, ’92); and Red Bank Catholic (’82). sponsoring scholarships

The CentraState Associated Auxiliaries are offering three scholarships to community volunteers. Two scholarships will be given to high school seniors pursuing careers in the health-care field. The third scholarship will be awarded to an adult returning to college to pursue a career in the health-care field. Each scholarship is worth $500. All applications must be received by April 30. All applicants must submit an application form, an essay, and two letters of recommendation, including one from the person or organization for whom the applicant volunteers. Applicants for the high school scholarship will also need to submit their school transcript. Scholarship application forms are available at high school guidance departments or by calling Judi Guy at the CentraState Healthcare Foundation office, (732) 294-7032.
