RONALD E. KAMINSKI, 52, of Freehold Township died Jan. 15 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Plainfield, he had resided in Metuchen before moving to Freehold Township three years ago. Mr. Kaminski was a supervisor for General Motors, Linden, where he was employed for more than 24 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served as a military policeman. He is survived by his wife, Stefania Sokalska Kaminski; two sons, Ronald and Gregory, both of Edison; a daughter, Deborah Aponte of Metuchen; a stepdaughter, Ewelina Bajerski, at home; two brothers, Richard of Odessa, Del., and Jerry of Edison; a sister, Barbara Piepszak of West Trenton; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township.

DOROTHY M. KASTEN, 72, of Freehold died Jan. 15 at home. Born in Lynn, Mass., she had resided in New York City before moving to Freehold in 1962. A licensed registered nurse, Mrs. Kasten was a pediatric charge nurse at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township, where she was employed from the opening of the hospital in 1971 until her retirement from nursing in 1991. She was a member of the first graduating class in the nursing program of Brookdale Community College, Lincroft. Mrs. Kasten was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church; a member of the St. Rose of Lima Altar Rosary Society; a former vice president of the St. Rose of Lima Parent Teachers Association; and a member of Court St. Rose of Lima No. 737, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, all of Freehold. She was also a member of the American Nurses Association and the New Jersey State Nurses Association. Mrs. Kasten was predeceased by her husband, Joseph J., who died in 1965. Surviving are two sons, Bruce J. Kasten of Yardley, Pa., and Kenneth P. Kasten of Daytona Beach, Fla.; three daughters, Cynthia A. Kasten of Eatontown; Barbara K. Singer of Mantua, and Elizabeth D. Flood of Freehold; and seven grandchildren. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

CHARLES ADORNETTO, 88, of Manalapan died Jan. 16 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Hoboken, he had resided in North Bergen before moving to Manalapan four years ago. Mr. Adornetto was a salesman for Continental Baking, Carlstadt, where he was employed for 39 years before his retirement 26 years ago. He was a communicant of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Manalapan; and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Hoboken. Surviving are his wife, Jennie Pezzino Adornetto; a son, Joseph of Freehold; three daughters, Rose Marie Ruggieri of Marlboro, and Connie Lock and Bernadette Beaton, both of Manalapan; a brother, Michael of Marlboro; a sister, Katherine Elia of Eatontown; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Thomas More Church, followed by interment at Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

UNA FRASER, 84, of Freehold Township died Jan. 16 at Bartley Manor, Jackson. Mrs. Fraser was born in New York City and had lived there before moving to Freehold Township four months ago. She was a retired private duty nurse. Mrs. Fraser was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Florida. She is survived by a son, D. Wayne Fraser of Freehold; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two nieces. Funeral services were held at the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.

MARTHA MARIE WRIGHT FINNEY CHEATUM, 45, of Asbury Park died Jan. 18 at home. Born in Neptune Township, she had resided in Freehold before moving to Asbury Park 20 years ago. Mrs. Cheatum was a nurses’ aide. She attended Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Neptune. Surviving are her husband, Lawrence; a son, Hakim Davis of Delaware County, Pa.; four daughters, Marie Wright and Nia Wright-Berry, both of Asbury Park, Sherice White of Lakewood, and Fatima Davis of Philadelphia; her mother, Martha Wright of Freehold; a brother, Thomas Wright of Paterson; four sisters, Augustine Brown of Long Branch, Linda Gill of Freehold Township, Willie C. Anderson of Slidell, La., and Antoinette Wright of Asbury Park. Funeral services were held at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

MILDRED D. JENSEN HENSCHEL, 76, of Middletown died Jan. 20 at home. Born in Jersey City, she lived there until moving to Middletown in 1952. She was the owner and operator of Middletown Jewelers, Middletown, for 30 years and retired in 1995. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Women’s Auxiliary Post No. 2159, Middletown. She was also a member of the Sons of Norway, Marlboro. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Henschel, in 1963; and her longtime companion, Thomas Keigher. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Susan Henschel of Neptune, Richard and Donna Henschel of Frenchtown, and Donald and Susan Henschel of the Belford section of Middletown; two sisters, Mary Kohrs of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Dorothy Hanusek of Wayne; her brother, Robert Olsen of Wayne; and eight grandchildren. Services were arranged by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. Memorial donations may be made to the Rainbow Foundation, 15 Cherry Tree Farm Road, New Monmouth 07748.

WILLIAM H. KEYSER, 84, of Freehold died Jan. 20 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Beckley, W.Va., he had resided in North Hills, Calif., before moving to Freehold 20 years ago. Mr. Keyser was employed by Pierce Brothers, Van Nuys, Calif., where he served as vice president and general manager of Valhalla Cemetery for 10 years, retiring 20 years ago. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Freehold, where he served on various boards and committees. He was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Los Angeles for three years; and a member of the American Baptist Church Council, both on a national and state level. He was also a member of the Olive Branch No. 16, Free and Accepted Masons; and the High 12 Club No. 542, both of Freehold. Mr. Keyser was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret White Keyser, in 1984. He is survived by his wife, Anita Thorne Rochelle Keyser; two daughters, Penelope A. Albee of Nashville, N.C., and Martha K. Gleason of Freehold; two stepsons, B. Douglas Rochelle of Red Bank and Frederick Rochelle of Summit; a stepdaughter, Anita Rochelle Deegan of New Wilmington, Pa.; a sister, Mildred K. Clover of Simi Valley, Calif.; six grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church of Freehold, followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements. WILLIAM J. TERRY SR., 62, of Brick Township died Jan. 22 at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had resided in Manalapan and Dunedin, Fla., before moving to Brick eight months ago. Mr. Terry was a structural iron worker for Local No. 361, Ozone Park, N.Y., for 45 years, retiring five years ago. He was a communicant of St. Denis Roman Catholic Church, Manasquan. He was a volunteer for the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranch, and the Sertoma Club, both of Safety Harbor, Fla. Mr. Terry was predeceased by three sisters, Julia Colgan, Elizabeth Missone and Rosemary Finamore. He is survived by his wife, Marie DiTrani Terry; two sons and daughters-in-law, William J. Jr. and Lisa Terry of Plumsted Township, and Martin and Martha Terry of Wall; a daughter, Marisa Terry of Manasquan; two brothers, Martin of Wall and Charles of Danbury, Conn.; four sisters, Catherine Mosscrop of Shirley, Long Island, N.Y., Margaret Green of Edison, and Joan Foy and Theresa Koenigsamen, both of Orlando, Fla.; and four grandchildren. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Denis Church, followed by interment at Atlantic View Cemetery, Manasquan. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements. MARY JANE ROEMER, 72, of Freehold Township died Jan. 23 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Roselle Park, she had resided in the Colonia section of Woodbridge before moving to Freehold Township last year. Mrs. Roemer was a secretary for Middlesex County College, Edison, for 20 years before her retirement in 1991. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick P. Sr., who died in 1996. She is survived by two sons, Frederick P. Jr. of Sterling, Mass., and Peter of North Andover, Mass.; two daughters, Kathleen Campbell of Freehold and Ruth Clark of Schwenksville, Pa.; a sister, Grace Bowe of Toms River; and 12 grandchildren. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church, Colonia, followed by interment at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

MARILYN ELIZABETH BINCKES, 65, of Marlboro died Jan. 24 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., where she resided until moving to Marlboro in 1983. Mrs. Binckes was comptroller of Circa Productions, Middletown, before her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church, Marlboro. Mrs. Binckes is survived by her husband, William P; two sons, William G. of Belle Harbor, N.Y., and Brian E. of Leahwood, Kan.; a daughter, Barbara Keller of Westlake, Calif.; and seven grandchildren. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Church, followed by interment at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Marlboro. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

SALLY ANN HENDERSON, 70, of Freehold Township died Jan. 25 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Passaic, she had resided in Wayne and in Florida before moving to Freehold 30 years ago. Mrs. Henderson was a restaurateur who operated the Trot In Café, Colts Neck, and the Pegasus Café, Wall, before her retirement. She was also a director of the New Jersey Standardbred Breeders Association. Mrs. Henderson is survived by two sons, Edward Schwind of Englishtown and Joseph Schwind of Freehold; a brother, Peter Sabatini of Oceanport; two sisters, Geri Arban of Oceanport and Bernadette Hoyer of Middletown; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services were held at the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.

ROGER J. COSTELLO, 65, of Colts Neck died Jan. 27 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., he had resided in Freehold Township and Holmdel before moving to Colts Neck five years ago. Mr. Costello worked in the data processing field for most of his life, most recently as a data processing consultant for Versatech Consulting Inc., Woodbridge. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1954 to 1956. Mr. Costello is survived by his wife, Helen Richer Costello; two sons, Clifford J. of Dixon, Calif., and Jeffrey J. of South Amboy; a daughter, Denise Reaume of Odenville, Ala.; and several grandchildren. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Colts Neck, under the direction of the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold. VINCENT A. PARRINI, 62, of Howell died Jan. 29 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Born in Morristown, he had lived in Freehold before moving to Howell 24 years ago. Mr. Parrini was an English teacher for the Marlboro Middle School for the past 39 years. He is survived by his aunt, Mary A. Caggiano of Margate, Fla.; a cousin, Patricia Pizzano of Iselin; a niece, and a nephew. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Veronica’s Roman Catholic Church, Howell, followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lakewood. The Lakewood Funeral Home, Lakewood, was in charge of arrangements.

BARBARA WORTHAM, 66, of Manalapan died Jan. 26 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in New York City, where she resided until moving to Manalapan 36 years ago. Mrs. Wortham was a pharmacist at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township, for 15 years before retiring in 1989. She was a graduate of the Columbia University School of Pharmacy, New York City. Mrs. Wortham was a member and deacon of the First Presbyterian Church of Englishtown; and a member of the Englishtown-Manalapan First Aid Squad for 15 years. She was predeceased by a son, Brent A., who died in 1989. Surviving are her husband, Alonzo; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kendall and Cindy Wortham of New Brunswick, and Darryl Wortham of San Francisco; a sister, Elizabeth Hall of Philadelphia; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the First Presbyterian Church of Englishtown, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

EDWARD PRESSER, 68, of Manalapan died Jan. 29 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mr. Presser was born in Newark and moved to Manalapan 33 years ago. He was a self-employed carpet salesman. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served during the Korean War. Mr. Presser was predeceased by his wife, Shirley, who died in 1998. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Jenifer and Tony Busalacchi of Manalapan; a brother, Robert of Plantation, Fla.; and one grandchild. Funeral services were held at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan.
