Children deserve full attention from parents

Good parenting is not an option. It is a responsibility and an obligation. You owe it to your child. You owe it to the world. Teaching children right from wrong, teaching children to treat others as they want to be treated, are necessities — if we are ever to make this world a better place.

The toys and clothes that money can buy are not the answer, but are the easy way out. Children need a lot more than food, clothing and distractions. Keep the spirit of the holiday season alive throughout the year. Caring and sharing are the key.

Start at home. Make time to love your children; spend time with them, talk with them, and listen ... they should be your first priority.
