JAMES A. AIELLO, 88, of Freehold Township died Nov. 25 at Jackson Center, Jackson Township. Mr. Aiello was born in Tyler, Pa., and had resided in Edison before moving to Freehold Township three years ago. He was a laborer for Heavy and General Laborers Local No. 472, Newark. Mr. Aiello as a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold; a member of the Order of Sons of Italy in America, Brockway, Pa.; a member of American Legion Post 435, Edison; and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie No. 1329, New Brunswick. Surviving are two sisters, Anabelle Luke of Jackson and Elizabeth McAninch of Freehold Township; 22 nieces and nephews; and several grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral services and interment were held in Brockway, Pa., under the direction of the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.

ANGELICA M. EARL, 60, of the Silvermead community in Freehold Township, died Nov. 21 at home. Born in Jersey City, she had resided in Marlboro before moving to Freehold Township five years ago. Mrs. Earl was a secretary for AT&T, Middletown, for the past 16 years. She was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Freehold Township. Surviving are her husband, Robert; two sons, David of Hollywood, Fla., and William of Freehold; a daughter, Ann Marie Szeles of Keansburg; her mother, Jennie Lamont of Jersey City; a sister, Carmen Marks of Wyckoff; and two grandchildren. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. The Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

NIKOLAI GOROCHOW, 76, of Howell, died Nov. 19 at Atlantic Coast Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Lakewood. Mr. Gorochow was born in Yugoslavia and came to the United States in 1950, residing in Lakewood before moving to Howell in 1965. He was a draftsman for the William Ayers Civil Engineering Firm, Allenhurst, for 35 years before retiring in 1991. He was a member of St. Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Church, Howell. He was also a founding member of the Russian Youth Circle and a past vice president of Rodina, both of Howell. Surviving are his wife, Galina; a son, George of Ramsey; two daughters, Veronica Gorochow of Howell and Lidya Gulizia of Ludington, Mich.; a brother, Michael of Wallingford, Conn.; and two grandchildren. A Divine Liturgy and Funeral Mass were offered at St. Alexander Nevsky Church, followed by interment at St. Vladimir Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Jackson. The C.H.T. Clayton and Son Funeral Home, Adelphia section of Howell, was in charge of arrangements.

ELIZABETH L. KEANEY, 95, of Freehold died Nov. 18 at home. Mrs. Keaney was born in Little Ferry and had resided in Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Freehold in 1989. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward P., who died in 1988; a son, William R. Jefferson, in 1992; four brothers, William, John, George and Joseph Jefferson; and two sisters, Evelyn Sibolo and Helen Kuhrt. Surviving are three sons, Edward P. Keaney Jr., at home, John Keaney of Cookstown, and George Keaney; four daughters, Christine Carbone of Keene, N.H., Mary Holden of Staten Island, N.Y., Sally McDonald of Toms River and Margaret Bindas of Freehold; one son-in-law, Eugene Bindas; one brother, Charles "Fred" Jefferson of East Keansburg; 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

CYNTHIA ANN LADA, 46, of Howell, died Nov. 14 at Lakeview Center, Lakewood. She was born in Newark and moved to Howell 40 years ago. Ms. Lada was a trainer for Showplace Farms, Manalapan. Surviving are two daughters, Tuesday Broughman and Jessica Lada, both of Howell; her father, Vincent Lada of Howell; two sisters, Karen Lada of Brick and Lisa Biesterfeld of Howell; and three nieces. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Veronica’s Church, Howell, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. The C.H.T. Clayton and Son Funeral Home, Adelphia section of Howell, was in charge of arrangements.J

JAY MARPET, 53, of Manalapan died Nov. 28 at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had resided in Freehold before moving to Manalapan six years ago. Mr. Marpet was the owner and operator of Security Alarm, Manalapan, for the past 20 years. Surviving are his wife, Adrienne Sarachik Marpet; three sons, Corey of Nashua, N.H., Adam of Freehold, and Blake J., at home; one daughter, Britany Alexys Marpet, at home; one brother, Paul Flam of Freehold; and one sister, Roberta Marpet of Huntington, Long Island, N.Y. Funeral services were held at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge, with Rabbi Bernard H. Rosenberg officiating. Interment was at Mount Sinai Cemetery, Marlboro.

LEWIS MENEFEE, 52, of Manalapan died Nov. 26 at home. He was born in Neptune Township and was a lifelong resident of Manalapan. Mr. Menefee was a construction worker. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1969 to 1971. He was a former member of the Old Ship of Zion Baptist Church, Englishtown; and attended the Jamesburg Assembly of God. Surviving are his mother, Leanna Wheat Menefee, with whom he lived; one brother, Elger Menefee of Washington, D.C.; and two nieces. Funeral services were held at the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township.

LORRAINE TROJAN NORMAND, 70, of Freehold Township died Nov. 27 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Neptune Township and had been a lifelong resident of the Freehold area. Mrs. Normand was a bookkeeper for the Central Jersey Bank and Trust Co., Freehold; Monmouth Petroleum, Englishtown; and the Tournament of Champions, Freehold. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. She was a member of the Freehold Township Woman’s Club and the Freehold Township Democratic Organization. Mrs. Normand was predeceased by her husband, William L., who died in 1988; and a daughter, Donna K. Normand, in 1978. Surviving are four sons, Randolph J. of Bordentown, Christopher of Aberdeen, Drew of Chesapeake, Va., and W. Terrance Normand of Freehold Township; one sister, Marie Hankinson of Freehold; and one granddaughter. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

FLORENCE T. PISCITELLI, 83, of Arden, N.C., died Nov. 25 at home. Born in New York City, she had resided in Howell before moving to Hendersonville, N.C., in 1977. Mrs. Piscitelli was employed at Kmart, Hendersonville, for 10 years, retiring at the age of 75. She was predeceased by her husband, August J., who died in 1968. Surviving are two daughters, Margaret Cavagnaro of Hendersonville and Mary M. Piscitelli of Arden; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services were held at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township, under the direction of the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold. MARJORIE MERENESS WATKINS, 79, of Manalapan died Nov. 28 at home. Born in Missouri City, Mo., Mrs. Watkins had resided in Cranford and in Falls Church, Va., before moving to Manalapan last year. Surviving are her husband, Ted J.; one daughter and son-in-law, Pamela K. and Robert J. Seligman of Manalapan; and one granddaughter. Services were held at the Lester Memorial Home, followed by burial in Fernwood Cemetery, both of Jamesburg.

EMILY M. SABOL, 86, of Freehold Township, died Nov. 18 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she had resided in Sayreville and Old Bridge before moving to Silvermead, Freehold Township, in 1969. Mrs. Sabol was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Freehold Township and a member of the Silvermead Community Club. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, George; two daughters and a son-in-law, Carol and Frank Tomarch of Sayreville, and Sister Susan Sabol, C.S.J., of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one grandson and one great-granddaughter. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, followed by entombment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. The C.H.T. Clayton and Son Funeral Home, Adelphia section of Howell, was in charge of arrangements.

VINCENT A. SHRECK, 83, of Freehold Township, died Nov. 10 at The Manor, Freehold Township. He was born in the Mariners Harbor section of Staten Island, N.Y., where he resided until moving to Marlboro in 1954 and then to Freehold Township in 1977. Mr. Shreck was a carpenter with Local 20, Staten Island, until his retirement. He was a founding member of the Robertsville Fire Company, Marlboro, and a past member of the Freehold Lions Club. Surviving are his wife, Jeanne Beauchamp Shreck; a son, Vincent G. of Long Neck, Del.; a daughter, Lynda Jeanne Curcio of Freehold Township; a sister, Dorothy Lorraine Nelson of Delray Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Freehold, with the Rev. Frank Hebert officiating. A committal service followed at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls, under the direction of the C.H.T. Clayton and Son Funeral Home, Adelphia section of Howell.
